Not at all! Category A is open to anyone with a creative naming idea. For Categories B and C, you're welcome to use AI tools, digital illustration, 3D design, animation software, or other creative methods that meet the submission requirements.

You can get creative with the Bear's clothing, accessories, expressions, poses, actions, and themed settings. However, please preserve its recognizable core features, including its body proportions and facial characteristics.

Our goal is to explore exciting new looks and expressions for the same Ulefone Bear, rather than create an entirely new character.

Category A – Mascot Naming

Submit your proposed name and briefly explain its meaning or inspiration.

Category B – Mascot Theme Design

Submit your themed mascot design, including the required cover image, additional design images, and a short creative description.

Category C – Animated Mascot Expressions

Submit at least one animated expression, gesture, or action, along with a short creative description. Static images are not accepted. Each animation must be submitted separately.

Submissions open on November 4, 2026, and close on December 4, 2026. All dates and deadlines follow Beijing Time (UTC+8).

Category A: The Ulefone team will shortlist ten candidate names and conduct preliminary trademark and legal checks. The shortlisted names will then enter public voting. The eligible name receiving the most valid votes will be selected as the winner, subject to final verification.

Categories B and C: Winners will be selected by the Ulefone judging team based on creativity, originality, quality, brand suitability, and compliance with the contest rules. There will be no public voting for these categories.

The winners will be announced on January 7, 2027, through Ulefone's official channels. Potential winners will also be contacted using the information provided during submission.

The contest offers a total prize pool of €3,000:

• Category A: One Grand Prize of €550 and nine Finalist Prizes of €50 each.
• Category B: Five winning entries, €200 each.
• Category C: Five winning entries, €200 each.

Winners may choose cash rewards or Ulefone products of equivalent value, subject to availability and applicable rules.

Prize-related taxes and reporting requirements depend on applicable laws. Winners are responsible for any personal taxes or reporting obligations required by law. Where legally required, the Organizer may withhold or report applicable amounts.

Participants retain any rights they may legally hold in their submitted names, subject to the contest-related usage permissions described in the official Rules and Rights.

If your name is selected as the winning name, Ulefone may use it for branding, marketing, merchandise, software, and other commercial purposes. The Grand Prize winner must sign a separate Rights Confirmation Agreement before receiving the prize.

Ulefone may also apply to register the winning name as a trademark where appropriate, but is not required to do so.

Participants retain their rights in non-winning entries, excluding Ulefone's pre-existing brand assets and any third-party materials.

For winning entries, winners must sign an Intellectual Property Assignment Agreement to transfer all legally transferable rights they own or control in their winning works to Ulefone.

The prize serves as compensation for the rights transferred and other obligations specified in the agreement. Ulefone may then use the transferred rights for branding, merchandise, software, marketing, and other commercial applications.

Yes. Winning entries may serve as the starting point for further creative development.

Ulefone may modify, refine, redesign, or adapt winning works to meet branding, manufacturing, technical, legal, or other business requirements. The final version used commercially may differ from the original winning entry.

Such modifications will be governed by the applicable rights assignment agreement and relevant laws.

For winning entries in Categories B and C, further use is subject to the Intellectual Property Assignment Agreement. Winners may identify themselves as the original creators and display their works in personal portfolios under the conditions specified in the agreement.
