Ulefone Announces Commitment to at Least Two Android OS Updates Alongside Android 16 OTA Update
At Ulefone, we believe that long-term software support is an important part of the user experience. As part of our ongoing effort to strengthen that support, we are introducing a new commitment: eligible newly launched Ulefone Android devices will receive at least two Android OS updates after launch.
Alongside this new commitment, we are announcing is announcing an Android 16 OTA update plan covering 29 current devices. Fifteen models are following the Android 14 to 15 to 16 path, while another 14 models are moving from Android 15 to 16. The detailed update list can be found at the end of this article.
A Clearer Software Support Commitment
The new policy is designed to provide users with clearer expectations for long-term software support. Two Android OS updates represent the minimum support baseline for eligible models, rather than a fixed maximum.
Depending on each product’s support plan, some models may receive additional Android OS updates. Eligibility and specific support details will be communicated for each model.
Android 16 Across Two Update Paths
The Android 16 OTA update plan reflects our continued effort to bring newer Android experiences to both existing and recently launched devices.
Fifteen Ulefone models are following the Android 14 to 15 to 16 path, representing an update journey across three Android generations.
Another 14 models that launched with Android 15 are moving to Android 16. Together, these two update paths bring Android 16 to a broad range of Ulefone smartphones and tablets.
